Our client, a Global retail and ecommerce organization is seeking a Sr. Azure Data Engineer for a 100% REMOTE contract opportunity!
This role requires a focus on how to implement and use Azure Analysis Services (AAS). The ideal candidate will need a strong Azure infrastructure background to implement AAS and a strong Data/Analytics/Reporting background to use AAS.
Candidates must have a strong background and experience within Analysis Services, Data Modeling, Reporting, Data Analysis, Networking, Security, Cloud Migrations and Azure. The candidate must have experience implementing, configuring and using Azure Analysis Services in production.
The candidate will lead an effort to install, configure and secure AAS in the organization’s Azure Development Subscription. This includes, but is not limited to, Virtual Machines, Firewall Rules, Azure Permissions, Authentication, Password Management, Security, Networking and Data Source Connections.
The candidate will lead effort to develop a semantic models and model management.
