Training and Development Manager (Hybrid)

 

Seeking a diligent job-seeker to join our Client as the role of Training and Development Manager in Haddonfield, NJ! As the Training and Development Manager your primary responsibility will be overseeing individual training and development plans. This Direct Hire opportunity offers $75k- $90k annually!



Responsibilities of the Training and Development Manager include:



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to create, maintain, and deliver as needed, individual training and development plans that equip team members with the skillset required for their role, opportunities for growth, and align with strategic plan projections

  • Ensure departmental training curriculum, methods, modes, and content for both new team members and continued professional development align with the departmental role job descriptions and proficiency benchmarks

  • Monitor training and development plans to ensure proposed content, methods, and modes are relevant and align with moving strategic initiatives forward

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure learning paths are always synchronized so that each position achieves its proficiency goals timely and efficiently

  • Regularly collaborate with key stakeholders to identify both technical and behavior skill gaps across all team members that are required to evolve the business, provide recommendations as needed

  • Continually develop innovative and creative training techniques that actively engage trainees, ensure consistent proficiency, and evolve a culture of professional development accountability 

  • Create and administer quantitative and qualitative proficiency testing on all new and existing staff to ensure their methods, processes, skills, and behavior continue to align with company standards

  • Demonstrate positive impact on organization’s strategic initiatives through a measurable metric

  • Ensure all company-wide training content, methods, modes, and platforms align with the training and development strategy

  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure all users are adequately trained in system functionality

  •  Ensure training always aligns or exceeds industry best practices by establishing a network of external/internal sources to identify best practices for modes of training, methods of training, platforms of training, and overall training field expertise

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and People and Culture Coordinator to ensure consistent and effective communication with all trainees and trainers

















Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the  Training and Development Manager include:



  • 3-5 years experience with training design, management, and delivery.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent presentation skills and verbal delivery style to engage audience in training sessions.

  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal/nonverbal communicator, decision-maker, and collaborator.

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
